ABSTRACT In this chapter, the impact of radio-planning strategies, transceiver electronic design, and overall wireless system planning will be discussed. By following a complete approach, from physical layer limitations derived from radiopropagation losses to transceiver requirements and the functional elements of the overall wireless system, performance of such wireless systems applied in e-health environments is increased.
