ABSTRACT

Printed material needs to be prepress processed before printing, and mainly include color separation and screening. Color separation means that an image with RGB mode can be converted to four monochromatic images with CMYK. Screening is a means of screening each monochromatic image to a dot image, making platesby the dot image, and then printing using the plates. The depth of color in print is realized by the dot percentage in the dot image; if the percentage is larger, the color of the print is deeper, otherwise the color is lighter.Dot shape, dot line number, and angle of dot line will have a direct impact on the visual eect of the print.
