ABSTRACT

Lu[6] and Tan[7] et al. carried out laboratory-scale and pilot-scale test using Fenton reaction for the promotion of mercury removal, found that when added Fenton reagents to the desulfurization seriflux, in laboratory-scale tests the oxidation rate of Hg0 in the flue gas up to 75% at the conditions of H2O2 mass fraction about 0.02%, Fe3+ content about 0.01%, pH 1.0 to 3.0; while in pilot trials the oxidizing Hg0 rate reached 30% to 40%. The above methods have different degrees of impairment for commercial applications.
