ABSTRACT
Connective tissues hold our bodies together. They include tendons, ligaments, fascia, organ capsules, the tunica media of blood vessels, the dermis (leathery inner layer of the skin), cartilage, bone, and both skeletal and smooth muscles. The rst two gures both show attachments between cartilages and skeletal muscles, Figure 10.1 in the head of a salamander and Figure 10.2 in the leg of a mouse.
