ABSTRACT
The objective of this paper is to characterize the earth materials used in the construction of two different rammed earth prototypes using particle size and compressive strength test at laboratory scale. Furthermore, walls thermal performances of both cubicles are presented in order to compare the behavior of the different rammed earth wall compositions. The cubicles have been constructed and monitored in Barcelona and Lleida (Spain).
