ABSTRACT

Practice of drivage and support of galleries requires reorientation to new, more progressive types of support yielding to mechanization, less labor and metal intensive. Analysis is conducted and researches are generalized for development workings support interaction processes with rock massif. Rational systems selection methods are considered together with parameters of near-the-contour rocks strengthening by roof bolts. The received results point at the fact that use of existing theories of roof bolts application possesses a row of peculiarities meeting specific mining-geological conditions. At this, each theory realizes its working mechanism of bolt support and does not allow to carry out a forecast of bolts installation optimal configuration.
