ABSTRACT
After many years of exploitation some silos constriction need to be reconstructed, strengthened or changed in their static solution. It caused by such parameter as degradation of property of existing construction materials, increase standards alive loads as pressure, temperature, patching loads, decreasing value of parameters of construction designing materials, changing functions of silo etc. It is almost certain than each silo built more than twenty years ago must be strengthened. Strengthening of silo construction (silo walls, bottom, foundations or overlap) can be carried out generally in two ways, according to formula (Kaminski & M. Maj, M 2000): Ac <= Re, where Ac = effect of designed acting loads against silo construction (ex. tension), Re = designed effect of resistant of silo contraction (ex. strength).
