ABSTRACT
Preliminary research by Van Nimmen et al. (2013) considered experiments in laboratory conditions. It is shown that the simulation of ground reaction forces based on a generalised single foot force model (Li et al. 2010) and the in situ identified pacing rate, including stride-to-stride variations, allows for a good approximation of the imperfect real walking forces.
