ABSTRACT
The problems discussed above can be partly solved by exploiting the digital format of the new data. It is possible to store digital data in a centralised repository, allowing the radiologists to crossvalidate their diagnosis or to get access to existing examinations. Furthermore, digital data can be processed by a computer.
