ABSTRACT

Over the last decades, the new technical means and methods, and in particular computing technology, has became more and more popular in architectural and engineering offices and their capabilities evolved exponentially in due time. In parallel, software packages, led by Computer-Aided Design (C.A.D.) with Non-uniform Rational B-Spline (N.U.R.B.S.) implementation and structural analysis software based on numerical modeling following the Finite Element Method (F.E.M.) have developed rapidly in the last decades.
